The Gamecock Club, established in 1940, provides financial support to more than 500 student-athletes representing the University of South Carolina. This aid is in the form of tuition fees, meal costs, medical costs, injury assistance, and other educational needs. Gamecock Club membership is open to all alumni and friends of the University.
More than 15,000 South Carolina fans donate to the athletics department through annual Gamecock Club memberships. There are currently 47 local chapters throughout South Carolina and an additional 16 out-of-state chapters that span from Houston, Texas to New York City, New York.
